Dr.
Liana Peña
Morgens
received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at
the Florida State University in 2000. She
received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from
Wesleyan University in 1993.
Dr. Morgens completed her
internship and post-doctoral training at
McLean Hospital / Harvard Medical School.
During her post-doctoral fellowship, Dr.
Morgens
specialized in individual therapy, group
therapy, school consultation, and
neuropsychological evaluations of
individuals with neuro-developmental
disorders, social anxiety and learning
disabilities. Dr. Morgens also earned a research
fellowship at the Department of
Developmental Disabilities at Boston Children's Hospital
during her post-doctoral training.
Currently, Dr. Morgens
maintains her affiliation with McLean as an
Instructor of Psychology at Harvard Medical
School. She continues to specialize in
neuropsychological assessments and
clinical psychotherapy. Her psychotherapy interests
include Group and Individual Therapy for
children, teens, and adults struggling with
ADHD, Executive Dysfunction, and social and
interpersonal relationship difficulties
stemming from anxiety and mood disorders, giftedness and/or
pragmatic language deficits.
Dr. Morgens also consults to local school
systems.

Dr.
Deborah L. Abber is a Clinical
Neuropsychologist who received her
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from
Michigan State University in 2001.
As a graduate student, Dr. Abber
received specialized training in
neuropsychology and the assessment
of children in both inpatient and
outpatient settings. She completed
her predoctoral internship and
postdoctoral clinical training at
South Shore Mental Health, a
community mental health clinic,
where she specialized in working
with children and adolescents in
individual and family therapy,
crisis intervention, and
psychological assessment. Dr. Abber
completed three years of
post-doctoral training in pediatric
neuropsychology at the Learning Lab
at Lesley University.
She is a former evaluator for
Lighthouse School, Inc., a private
special education school for
children and adolescents with severe
emotional and behavioral
difficulties that have a wide range
of complex diagnostic profiles
including developmental,
neurological, medical, and genetic
conditions, learning disabilities,
and psychiatric diagnoses. Before
joining The Morgens Group, Dr. Abber
worked as a consultant to area
schools, hospitals, and private
agencies providing evaluation
services, academic and IEP
recommendations, and clinical
supervision.
Dr. Abber's expertise is in the
neuropsychological and
psychoeducational assessment of
children and adolescents with ADHD,
Autism Spectrum Disorders,
neurocognitive processing deficits
(auditory processing, visual
processing, memory, executive
functioning), Learning Disorders
(reading, writing, math), Nonverbal
Learning Disabilities, and social,
emotional, and behavioral concerns.
She has worked with students in
various school settings (public,
private, special education, and
charter schools) and has expertise
in evaluating the broad range of
developmental, cognitive, learning,
social, emotional, and behavioral
difficulties that can interfere with
learning in the classroom and
overall school success.

Dr.
Rachel Andaloro is
a clinical neuropsychologist who received her doctoral degree in clinical
psychology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2011. As a graduate student,
she received specialized training in the neuropsychological assessment of adults
and adolescents.
Dr. Andaloro completed her internship in clinical neuropsychology
in the psychiatry department of Harvard Medical School at Beth Israel Deaconess
Medical Center and Massachusetts Mental Health Center and remained there to
complete a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology.
She has worked with patients
from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, including a rotation at
Boston Healthcare for the Homeless at Boston Medical Center. She also has
forensic experience, including participation in custody evaluations.
In addition to her work at The
Morgens Group, Dr. Andaloro also participates in research evaluating those
enrolled in psychopharmacological trials for Alzheimer’s Disease and Autism
Spectrum Disorders.

Dr. Kristen Aberle
is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist
who earned her doctorate in Clinical
Psychology from Roosevelt University
(Chicago, IL) in 2010. She has
experience working with clients
ranging from young children to
adults. Dr. Aberle completed her
predoctoral internship at Citrus
Health Network, Inc (Hialeah, FL)
and postdoctoral fellowship at Mt.
Sinai Hospital (Chicago, IL). Over
the course of her training, she has
worked in community mental health
clinics, large urban hospitals, and
schools where she provided
psychotherapy and psychoeducational
testing services to clients
presenting with a diverse array of
problems.
Dr. Aberle has
specialized experience working with
children, adolescents, and
families. She has provided
psychotherapy, consultation, and
crisis intervention to clients
coping with complex trauma
histories, depression, anxiety,
behavior disorders, self-esteem
issues, self-injurious behaviors,
school-refusal, and interpersonal
problems. Additionally, she has
successfully aided clients facing
life stressors or challenges
adjusting to life changes. Dr.
Aberle has also worked with families
dealing with family conflict and
parenting challenges.
Dr. Aberle believes
in an individualized, collaborative
approach to treatment whereby
clients are actively involved in the
treatment planning process. She
works with individual clients and
families to address their unique
needs and presenting problems in a
way that will yield improvements and
sustained progress over time. She
employs an integrative approach to
treatment, which may incorporate
psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral,
and family systems interventions.
She also consistently uses play
therapy to address the needs of
younger clients. |

Susan
Betit-Zilinskas has a Master’s
in Education with a specialization
in Special Education from
Northeastern University, and a
Graduate Certificate in Adult and
Organizational Learning. She
recently relocated from New York
where she was licensed to teach
grades 1 through 6. She is currently
in the process of receiving her
teaching and Moderate Special Needs
license in Massachusetts for Pre-K
through 8th grade.
Susan’s experience with children
and education spans from infancy
through middle school. While
obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in
Childhood Education with a
concentration in the Social Sciences
from SUNY Cortland, Susan worked in
early childhood education, as well
as spending the summers as a camp
counselor and supervisor. In
addition to working in the general 2nd,
3rd, and 5th
grade classrooms, Susan has held
long-term substitute positions as a
general and special education
teacher (grades 3 and 4
respectively). Susan has also
extensively as a private teacher for
a gifted, special needs child with
developmental challenges as well as
ADHD. |

Kate
McGravey
earned her M.A. and Certificate of
Advanced Graduate Study (C.A.G.S.)
from at the Massachusetts School of
Professional Psychology (MSPP).
Kate is currently a practicing
school psychologist who primarily
works with middle and high school
aged children. While working as a
school psychologist, Kate is also
completing her doctoral degree in
School Psychology at MSPP with an
expected June 2014 graduation date. Kate’s
clinical and educational experience
with children spans from early
childhood through middle school.
She has worked in various settings
including public schools, early
childhood centers, and therapeutic
day programs. She has been a
private tutor for ten years and has
also tutored in university and after
school programs. Kate has extensive
experience working with children
with a wide range of skills and
needs. As a school psychologist,
she works closely with students who
have emotional and social
disabilities. Additionally, she is
responsible for assessing and
informing intervention for students
with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD,
Nonverbal Learning Disability,
Specific Learning Disability,
executive functioning weaknesses,
and other educational disabilities.

Dr.
Brandi S. Henson received her
doctoral degree in School-Child
Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva
University in 2005. During her
internship at UMass Memorial Health
Care, she focused her training on
psycho-diagnostic and
neuropsychological evaluations,
individual and family therapy and
preschool consultations through the
Community Healthlink's Youth and
Family Services.
Dr.
Henson completed a post-doctoral
fellowship at McLean Hospital /
Harvard Medical School, where she
specialized in the evaluation and
treatment of children and
adolescents with spectrum disorders
(e.g., Asperger's Disorder, autism,
and NLD), as well as other related
and secondary disorders (e.g., ADHD,
depression, anxiety, and Bipolar
Disorder).
Currently, Dr. Henson holds an
academic appointment as an
Instructor in Pediatrics at Tufts
Medical Center where she has been
involved in several projects
designed to improve the well- being
of children through the integration
of mental health services into
pediatric primary care. She has also
run behavior training groups for
parents of young children, developed
and implemented an innovative
psychotherapy group for teen
parents, and helped to create a
comprehensive developmental-
behavioral screening instrument for
children under 5 years of age.
Dr. Henson's expertise is in the
assessment and treatment of children
and adolescents with
neurodevelopmental disorders,
complex learning difficulties,
and social-emotional difficulties.

Mr. Timothy W. Leahy, LICSW,
attended Brown University and
received his M.S.W. from Washington
University in St. Louis.
Mr. Leahy offers psychotherapy that
is goal directed and focused on
identifying the inner and outer
obstacles that thwart progress.
Mr. Leahy’s ultimate goal as a
therapist is to help his clients
overcome these obstacles in order to
achieve rich and fulfilling lives.
By teaching specific techniques for
relaxation, non-critical self-study
and realistic goal setting, Mr.
Leahy’s clients have made major

aspirations, relationships and

Dr.
Elizabeth Olson is a clinical
neuropsychologist who received her
Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the
University of Minnesota in 2010. Her
dissertation examined the
development of executive functioning
during adolescence. She completed a
clinical internship in the
neuropsychology track at Beth Israel
Deaconess Medical Center /
Massachusetts Mental Health Center /
Harvard Medical School and then
completed a two-year postdoctoral
fellowship in neuropsychology, also
at BIDMC/MMHC/HMS. In addition to
her work at The Morgens Group, Dr.
Olson is currently completing an
additional research fellowship at
McLean Hospital / Harvard Medical
School.
Dr. Olson has extensive
experience in neuropsychological
evaluation of adolescence and
adults, with expertise in evaluating
patients with a variety of
presenting concerns including
neurodevelopmental problems such as
autism spectrum disorders and
attention-deficit / Hyperactivity
disorder (ADHD); learning disorders
such as dyslexia; neurological
problems such as traumatic brain
injury, epilepsy, stroke, and
dementia; medical problems such as
diabetes, cancer, hepatitis C, and
HIV; and psychiatric problems such
as posttraumatic stress disorder,
bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders,
and major depressive disorder.
She has evaluated students who
require academic accommodations for
high school, college, and graduate
school and when appropriate has
successfully requested
accommodations for standardized
tests, including the SAT, GRE, MTEL,
